Realizacja czynności oględzin miejsca zdarzenia podporządkowana jest określonym procedurom postępowania pozwalającym na ujawnianie wszystkich mających związek ze zdarzeniem dowodów i śladów, sfotografowanie istotnych okoliczności miejsca zdarzenia w tym samych śladów oraz ich zabezpieczenie w charakterze materiału dowodowego. Wykonane na miejscu zdarzenia zdjęcia fotograficzne dają organom procesowym możliwość zapoznania się z wyglądem samego miejsca zdarzenia oraz ujawnionymi tam śladami przestępstwa. Celem wykonywania zdjęć poszczególnych śladów jest pokazanie ich cech charakterystycznych, w tym wielkości. Z tego też względu, przed wykonaniem zdjęcia śladu umieszcza się w jego sąsiedztwie odpowiedniej wielkości numerek oraz skalówkę fotograficzną i dopiero wówczas następuje sfotografowanie śladu.

Niezbędnym do przeprowadzenia oględzin jest posiadanie sprzętu pozwalającego na dokonanie pomiarów miejsca zdarzenia oraz położenia występujących tam śladów. Do tego celu służą taśmy miernicze oraz elektroniczne urządzenia pomiarowe.

These scales are designed primarily for footwear and tire track impression comparisons. They are excellent for verifying perspective distortion. Forensic Scales

These scales are designed primarily for forensic professionals who are involved with the study of the anatomy, growth and disease of teeth. They feature superb divisional definition in English or metric. Black and white scales are provided on matte-finish vinyl and a smaller adhesive backed 55mm version is available on rolls of 100. SEARCH PHOTO EVIDENCE RULE TAPE

SIRCHIE® ’s photo evidence rule tape is ideal for marking unusual surface shapes for photography. The tape may be applied to almost any surface and removes easily after photography. PHOTO EVIDENCE TAPE

This tape features a continuous scale repeat of 0” to 12” and 0-30 cm on a matte, white-finish tape that is 1” wide on a 30-foot roll. The tape features a low-tack, non-permanent adhesive that may be easily removed from any surface without damaging the surface. The tape is printed with divisions for both inches and centimeters.

JUMBO PHOTO EVIDENCE TAPE

This jumbo photo evidence tape features a major number division. Tape is yellow with a matte finish and is printed on a 1 1/4” wide x 30’ roll. The scale repeats continuously every 12 inches with an alternating 6” black band on 12” divisions. The tape features a low-tack, non-permanent adhesive that allows for easy removal. Use this tape indoors or outdoors.

SIRCHIE offers two 1” wide photo evidence scale labels on a roll for addend convenience. The No. PPS200 is a 20mm scale designed for 1:1 photography. BIG NUMERAL TRI-FOLD REFERENCE SCALES

Tri-Fold scales can be configured in three different modes: straight, right angle and dual right angle. The EFR200 measures units in inches and is 36” long when Fuldy extended, 12”x 24” as a right angle and 12” x 12” as a dual right angle. The EFR300 measures units in centimeters and is 90cm long when Fuldy extended, 30cm x 60cm as a right angle and 30cm x 30 cm as a dual right angle. Scales are manufactured of 1 1/2” wide x 40 mil thick yellow polystyrene with black divisions. Scales are printed on both sides to permit horizontal or vertical measurements with a 1/4” hole for hanging if required.

Photographic Evidence Folding Scale

These small folding scales are perfect when photographing evidence such as bullet casings, fingerprints, bone and glass fragments, etc. It’s rugged, black anodized aluminum construction allows it to be used indoors or out regardless of the weather. The EFR400E English scale measures 13.5" when fully extended and readily folds down to 5.25" for convenient transportation and storage. The EFR400M metric scale measures 34.29cm fully extended and 13.35cm folded.

Metal Photo Evidence Scales

The SEARCH Rod

Originally designed for use by surveyors, the SEARCH Rod is a semi-rigid measuring tape that is rapidly finding its way into crime scene and traffic investigation kits. This handy tool is available in inches or metric units with the numbers on one side printed in black-on-white and the other with red-onwhite— offering outstanding photographic contrast. The standard SEARCH Rod is 6.5’ long and 7/8” wide. The metric version is 2 meters long and 2.3cm wide. The tape stores in a high-impact plastic case and pulls out completely—giving you a simple, efficient measuring tool. When you’re finished, just push the tape back into the case. Measure from the ground or floor up with ascending numbers. The standard version has reversed printing every other foot giving a clear indication of the measurement—even from a distance. The metric version uses large numbers to indicate a point every 10cm with every 20cm on the red side in reversed printing.

Reflective Chalk can be used to create reflective markings which can be illuminated by photoflash or flashlight.

Perfect for illuminating the location of evidence that would not normally show in night-time photography, or for use at accident investigations to indicate skid marks and highlight relevant debris.
